How to Measure for Roman Blinds

1. For fitting inside the window recess:

Measure the length from top to bottom of the recess at both sides and in the middle.

If there is a difference, ordering the smallest measurement to ensure the blind hangs freely.

Measure the width at the top of the window recess, the middle and at the bottom. Order using the smallest measurement of the three.

Please note: Both tab headed and bead trim roman blinds are unsuitable for fitting inside a recess.

Some light may be visible around the edges depending on the nature of window frame

2. For fitting outside a window recess

To obtain the length measure from the required position above the window down to the required length.

To obtain the width, measure the width of the windows and add at least 7cm to each side (14cm in total) to allow sufficient overlap at each side of the window.
